Saving The Ocelots
An cat is endangered. Its name is ocelot. An ocelot is a cat that lives in north america. The ocelot's diet is young deer, rodents, lizards, rabbits, bird (that are small so ocelots can eat them), snakes, lizards. Unlike house cats these cats love to swim. Because they can climb they bring their prey to a tree or a very high place to eat. They do this because the do not what other animals that hunt the same animals to steal their prey. An ocelot is very rare because people cut down trees where they live.
This is a ocelot in its home the jungle. It lives in central america and north america or the jungle. The ocelot's environment is marsh lands, plains, Tropical jungle, grasslands. We need to save ocelots or the food chain will fall apart. The ocelot's predators are the Jaguar, the Puma, and the Harpy eagle. If you look close at an ocelot's fur or coat it has spots and stripes. It you look at the picture below it has stripes and spots. They are so cute. Don't you think? I know that they are going to die soon because people are cutting down their home.

People have to stop cutting down trees in the rain forest. That is where the ocelots live. My name is Chloe Prentice and I am in school. I know that people are going to destroy earth and the animals like the ocelot too.
